A Mountain Home woman has been arrested after she was found with nearly half a pound of methamphetamine. Law enforcement also seized her Mercedes Benz. Being held in the Izard County Jail is 33-year-old Victoria Sean Watts.
According to the 16th Judicial District Drug Task Force, a nearly six-month-long investigation culminated this week with Watts’ arrest in Calico Rock. The task force, along with the Izard County Sheriff’s Office, seized 212 grams of meth, $560 in cash and her 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC300, which law enforcement say was used as a conveyance in connection with trafficking of methamphetamine.
During the encounter, Watts also had digital scales and other drug paraphernalia consistent with the distribution of methamphetamine.
The arrest happened during a traffic stop after Watts was seen crossing the center line. Watts is a probationer with a warrantless search waiver on file.
The meth was found in individual baggies in a pouch in the back seat.
Watts is facing a class Y felony of trafficking methamphetamine and a felony charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. She also faces a penalty enhancement for being a habitual offender. Her bond is set at $150,000.
A Class Y felony is the most serious standard category of crime in Arkansas, carrying a mandatory prison sentence of 10 to 40 years, or up to life in prison.
PREVIOUS ARRESTS
Watts has one previous felony arrest in Arkansas which occurred in 2024 in Baxter County. She was arrested on charges of breaking or entering, fleeing, theft of property, fleeing on foot, criminal trespass, careless and prohibited trespass, leaving the scene of an accident, failure to register a vehicle and not having insurance.
Those charges were for her part in a break-in at storage units in Briarcliff.
She pled guilty and was sentenced to four years of probation.
