By rssfeeds-admin Shotoku Broadcast Systems is expanding its Aura PTZ product line with the Aura E2 PTZ Elevator, a new studio pedestal designed for PTZ productions.
The company said the E2 is built to provide smooth elevation for PTZ cameras and, when teleprompters are in use, the Aura P2 panner. It offers more than 1.2 meters of variable-speed elevation control through a self-contained two-stage elevator.
Shotoku said the E2 works with other Aura system components and can be operated manually or through preset shot recall. It is integrated into the company’s manual studio dolly and uses a lightweight three-wheeled pedestal design.
The E2 joins other Aura products, including the Aura TR-XPTZ Control System and the Aura P2 PTZ Prompter Panner.
“E2 adds another axis of control to the Aura family, providing even more capability in a professional PTZ production,” said James Eddershaw, Shotoku UK managing director. “With E2, PTZ operation moves even closer to the flexibility of use that high-end broadcast robotic systems have become accustomed to.”
Shotoku said it will show the new product at IBC 2026 in Amsterdam, Sept. 11-14, at Stand 12.F47. The company will also feature its Swoop robotic crane and the European debut of QuickRef, its robotic pedestal referencing system.
