Logicalis International has released its FY26 Responsible Business Report. The document highlights significant strides in environmental stewardship and workforce development. The global technology service provider achieved a 34% reduction in operational emissions (compared to FY 22). The company set this baseline in fiscal year 2022. Renewable electricity usage also jumped to 42%, nearly double the percentage of last year (22%).The company now employs over 4,000 people across 20 territories, who serve more than 6,000 customers globally. Logicalis generated $1.25 billion in revenue during fiscal year 2025. This financial growth supports their broader sustainability goals. Logicalis operates as a division of Datatec Limited. The parent company, Datatec Limited, is listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange.
The comprehensive report is 21 pages long and divided into five chapters. The chapters broadly examine Logicalis’s impact on its people, communities, and the planet. Logicalis clearly organizes each chapter around CSR metrics, placing them within the context of the company’s broader goals.

Bob Bailkoski, CEO of Logicalis, said, “Responsible business is not separate from business success. It is how organisations build resilience in an increasingly complex world.
“Technology continues to create opportunities for growth and innovation, but the organisations best positioned to succeed are those that innovate responsibly, invest in their people, contribute positively to society and demonstrate environmental stewardship. Our FY26 results show meaningful progress against our climate commitments, alongside continued investment in our people and the communities we serve.”
Empowering the Workforce Through Education
Investing in people remains a core strategic pillar for Logicalis. The firm rolled out its global learning platform this year, the Logicalis Learning Space. Over 4,129 employees accessed and completed approximately 3,000 days of learning collectively. In addition, the company invested $1.3 million in training and accreditations to maintain and increase expertise in cloud, security, and AI.
Employees now hold over 7,150 technical certifications covering network, data, and cloud portfolios. Leadership development also saw strong participation, with around 470 leaders joining specific development programmes. These initiatives aim to strengthen team collaboration and focus on building high-performing units.
Wellbeing and inclusion remain top priorities too. The firm launched a new global Inclusion and Belonging framework. Their diversity and inclusion score stands at 8.4, remaining above industry benchmarks. Though Logicalis did not elaborate on which benchmark.
The report reflects a corporate intent to value and empower employees, providing them with the tools needed to succeed in supporting customers and advancing their careers.
Accelerating Environmental Progress Globally
Logicalis has maintained its carbon neutrality status for the second year. This achievement covers global Scope 1 and 2 emissions and uses science-based targets to guide its strategy. Logicalis is aiming for net-zero emissions across the value chain by FY50. A 50% reduction in absolute emissions is targeted by FY30.
Scope 3 emissions only dropped 2% year-over-year, though by 33% since the base year. Logicalis sees supply chain engagement as critical. 77% of suppliers by spend now have science-based targets, with a goal to reach 85% by FY28.
The aim is to reduce absolute Scope 3 emissions by 90% by 2050. Achieving a 90% reduction in Scope 3 emissions by 2050 presents a significant challenge. Logicalis will need to demonstrate robust supply chain engagement to meet this ambitious target.
Reducing e-waste internally and for customers remains a key focus area. Logicalis partners with vendors like Cisco on recycling and circular technology models.
Energy efficiency improvements drove much of this success. The US data centres now source renewable energy, and energy efficiency was improved in Taiwan. Overall electricity consumption fell by 1%. This drop complements the shift to green power.
Nick Zinzan, Head of ESG at Logicalis International and parent company Datatec, said, “Responsible business is ultimately about creating long-term value. Our progress in FY26 demonstrates that sustainability can be both ambitious and practical when it is embedded into business strategy.
“By focusing on reducing emissions, increasing renewable energy adoption, engaging suppliers and investing in skills, we are building a stronger and more resilient business. At the same time, our continued investment in communities and inclusion is helping create positive outcomes for customers, colleagues, partners and society.”
Community Investment and Future Talent
The report details strong community engagement efforts. Logicalis supported 19 STEM-focused projects globally this year. Total donations to charities exceeded $352,000, up from $232,000 in FY25.
One key focus is to increase the percentage of females working in technology. Within Logicalis, the percentage of female employees remains at 26%, the same as last year, with 30% of senior leaders being female. Logicalis aims to address this with initiatives such as a scholarship scheme launched by its subsidiary Packet Systems in Indonesia. However, the report lacked a clear global roadmap to support further growth.
To further increase representation of underrepresented groups, Logicalis initiatives such as the YES internships in South Africa saw six permanent hires.
The firm aligned five strategic community projects to a new framework, “Theory of Change”. The framework tracks outcomes like completion, employment and education, ensuring investments deliver lasting benefits.
Strategic Outlook for Responsible Business
According to the report, the next era of business demands active value creation. Logicalis views responsible practices as a growth engine and a factor in resilience. Responsible business is not just about delivering future results by mitigating today’s risks.
The report notes that, “ESG risk assessments have identified technology and cyber security, climate change, energy management and corporate culture among the issues most material to our long-term success.”
The report demonstrates that Logicalis is making progress on all fronts, some faster than others. It highlights that its ESG pedigree is not just about delivering metrics internally; it is also about what changes it helps customers deliver to their own operations.
One example cited is how it is helping customers adopt AI responsibly; another is the relationship with Cisco. However, in future reports, will Logicalis start to measure some of these external improvements it delivers to customers?
It raises the question of whether it is the responsibility of technology companies not just to improve their own ESG metrics but also to support and measure improvements within their customer base. Those customers will benefit from these initiatives and will want to track the improvements themselves. Is this a differentiation that Logicalis can offer going forward?
The company helps customers adopt AI responsibly. Logicalis provides expertise on digital transformation. This guidance reduces environmental impact for clients. Logicalis aims to build future-ready workforces. They focus on leadership diversity in decision-making, innovation and environmental responsibility now progress together.
Enterprise Times: What does this mean
For Logicalis: The FY26 results validate their “Architects of Change” brand promise. The 34% emissions cut and $1.3 million training investment, prove their strategy is active. It will enhance their reputation with investors and regulators and position them as a leader in sustainable tech services.
Vendors like Cisco benefit from Logicalis’ push for circular models. Partners can leverage Logicalis’ success to sell more green solutions. The focus on supplier targets means partners must align their own ESG goals and should focus on e-waste and energy efficiency initiatives.
In Logicalis, clients can gain a trusted partner for sustainable technology usage, responsible AI and cloud adoption. Logicalis’ expertise helps them meet their own sustainability targets. The reduced operational emissions of Logicalis may translate to lower carbon footprints for client projects. Importantly, customers can rely on a vendor that prioritizes security and ethics.
Logicalis sets a high bar for tech service providers. Their double materiality assessment aligns with new European standards. Other firms may follow suit to remain competitive. While this emphasis could spur wider industry action, both the sector and Logicalis still have a long way to go before achieving parity.
