By rssfeeds-admin Enghouse Networks has introduced Sports Hub, a new capability within its video platform designed to give operators and broadcasters a way to build sports experiences around live viewing, real-time data and fan engagement.
The company said Sports Hub is intended to help media providers create a single destination for sports fans before, during and after games as competition for premium sports rights intensifies.
Sports Hub combines live streaming with sports data, personalized notifications, team and competition tracking, match timelines, statistics and highlights. Enghouse said the goal is to bring content discovery and fan engagement into one experience across TV, mobile and connected devices.
Unlike traditional streaming experiences that focus mainly on video delivery, Sports Hub is designed to give operators a richer sports destination that can keep fans engaged more often and for longer periods.
The company said preliminary operator trials are underway and early customer feedback is helping refine the user experience ahead of broader commercial availability.
“Sports viewing has evolved beyond the live broadcast. Fans expect immediate access to statistics, updates, highlights and personalised content wherever they are,” said Mick McCluskey, Enghouse vice president of product management. “Sports Hub enables operators and broadcasters to create a more engaging destination for fans while strengthening subscriber loyalty and creating new opportunities for service differentiation.”
Enghouse will demonstrate Sports Hub at IBC 2026 in Amsterdam, Sept. 11-14, at Hall 5, Stand B23.
