By rssfeeds-admin Skyline Communications said its DataMiner xOps platform helped beIN SPORTS with one of its more demanding live broadcast operations during the FIFA World Cup 2026, giving the broadcaster real-time control over thousands of live media streams.
The company said the platform gave beIN SPORTS a unified view of streams, resources and schedules across teams working on the tournament, reducing reliance on manual coordination and separate tools.
beIN SPORTS used DataMiner xOps to plan events, reserve resources and monitor live operations in real time, Skyline said. The company said the system created a digital twin of the broadcaster’s live media operation and helped teams work from the same up-to-date view.
The platform also helped automate parts of the workflow, which Skyline said saved several hundred operational hours and reduced the risk of human error.
“Major live sports events demand flawless coordination across multiple operational teams,” said Delphine Calvini, beIN Media Group director of technology. “By implementing DataMiner xOps, we were able to streamline complex workflows, reduce manual synchronization efforts and improve end-to-end operational efficiency throughout the tournament.”

Skyline said the example reflects a broader shift in broadcast operations as live productions grow more complex and distributed.
