Interprefy Turns Events Into Always-on Content
Interprefy Media HubWhile event budgets are projected to grow by 10.9% in 2025/6 (source: IPA), not all event organisers are maximising the benefits that these events can deliver. According to the Event Marketing Institute, while 70% of marketers say social content from experiences (content amplification) is important, only 37% think they do it well, and in B2B, that number drops to 23%.

The ICE Benchmarking Report 2024 found that the top priority for event organisers was content creation (5/5). Even above attendee engagement (4.16/5), which was second most important.

Live events generate a lot of content that, once listened to or read in the moment, organizations rarely make accessible again. The Media Hub provides a portal through which users can access the recordings, transcripts, captions and multilingual audio that were created during the event.  It serves as a central, searchable repository that gives users access to all event-generated content.

The Interprefy Media Hub

To address this, Interprefy has launched Media Hub, a new platform to allow organisations to organise and present the output from international events for later consumption. Interprefy already leverages AI to solve simultaneous translation for international events. With Media Hub, it aims to provide an event repository where organizers can curate, edit, and distribute content.

As standard, where Interprefy is involved with an event, it can create a Media Hub that categorises and makes available all content from the event. Access is granted through a secure link for at least a year. Administrators can access, edit transcripts and captions, and download the final output in a shareable format.

Oddmund Braaten, CEO of Interprefy, stated, “An event creates valuable multilingual content long after the live conversation has finished. With Media Hub, we’re putting that content directly into our customers’ hands. So they can access it quickly, adapt it to their needs and keep creating value from every multilingual event.”

How does Media Hub work?

Within ten minutes of a session at an event that Interprefy helped manage, users receive access via a secure link. They are then able to watch recordings, trim unwanted sections, adjust captions and download a final shareable video. Access lasts a full year after the event completes.

The platform automatically generates AI summaries of the content in more than 80 languages. No matter what language(s) the event was held in The platform allows users to filter all sessions by day, topic, or content type. In addition, users can view and edit session transcripts, multilingual audio by language and channel, interpretation-only or floor-filled audio files, and final videos with selected audio and captions burned in.

Braaten added, “The live event is only one part of the value organisations can create from bringing people together. A keynote, panel discussion or presentation can continue to engage audiences long after the event, but only if teams can quickly turn those conversations into content people can actually access and use.

“For international events, that also means thinking beyond the language of the original session. If organisations invest in making an event accessible to multilingual audiences live, there is a real opportunity to carry that inclusivity into the content they produce afterwards. Media Hub is designed to make that process much simpler and help organisations get more lasting value from the content they have already created.”

Availability

The Interprefy Media Hub is available now. It is part of the Interprefy Event services. Interprefy need to clarify to customers if the hub is included in the foundation Platform Plan, or included within the Media Services add-on.

Interprefy Media Hub is available now, worldwide, as part of Interprefy’s event services. Thus, giving every customer a simple way to turn their event’s multilingual content into a resource that keeps delivering value long after the event itself has ended.

It is the latest addition to the Interprefy portfolio that aims to deliver value for organisations holding events, whether regular or a one-off.

Braaten concluded, “Our focus has always been on removing communication barriers from the live event experience, but those barriers shouldn’t reappear once an event is over. We see a real opportunity to help organisations make multilingual content work harder, and for longer, while making it easier for teams to reach audiences in the languages they use every day.

“Media Hub is another step in that direction. As we continue to invest in AI and multilingual event technology, our goal is to make every stage of the event journey, before, during and after the live experience, more accessible, useful and increasingly valuable.”

Enterprise Times: What does this mean

The Media Hub is a natural progression for Interprefy to create for its customers. It provides a portal for customers to access the content they generate during events. The question is whether the firm will take it a step further and provide customers with a tool for lead generation. Where they can register users to see publicly available content from the event.

Also, there is no indication whether organisations can extend the 12-month availability, and at what cost? These are two questions that customers might want to ask.
