The Marion County Sheriff’s Office would like to inform the public of malicious emails that are currently circulating and may appear to come from the agency.
The sheriff’s office says they are among several agencies experiencing the issue and are working with their IT team to address it.
Anyone who is not expecting an email from the agency is advised not to open or interact with the message.
