Created by Impact Plan, the original designers behind Portugal’s internationally recognized Umbrella Sky Project, Giralda in Bloom brings a fresh interpretation of the iconic installation to Coral Gables, bringing new energy to one of the city’s most popular public spaces, said Belkys Perez, Coral Gables’ economic development director.
The unveiling celebration will feature live music and a mini market showcasing Coral Gables retailers, including Bliss Imprints & Gifts, Coco Bella Gift & Home, Linen Drama, Blue Serenity Boutique, No Boundaries Sport, In Fashion by Vera, Truffle Temptation and Giralda Sky Series sponsor Ciudad Madera.
“Following the incredible response to Cielo Tejido, we’re excited to bring another immersive installation to Giralda Plaza,” she said. “Giralda in Bloom creates another opportunity for residents and visitors to experience downtown, support our local businesses and enjoy one of Coral Gables’ signature gathering spaces in a unique way.”
