ST. ANTHONY – Crop Dusters Grill at 31 Industrial Park Road in St. Anthony is one of East Idaho’s newest eateries, and the owners say it’s already become a crowd favorite.
Matt and Maria Thueson opened the restaurant on July 7, just off the runway at St. Anthony Airport. It serves homemade hamburgers, hand-battered chicken, shrimp, and finger steaks, along with cheese curds and other appetizers, salad, fresh-cut fries, fried pickles, and other “locally sourced comfort food.” EastIdahoNews.com sampled some of the menu, which you can watch in the video above.

The first item we tried was fried cheese curds topped with caramel. It sounds unusual, but it’s actually quite tasty.
The southwest salad is a hearty and healthy option. It’s served with your choice of chicken or shrimp and comes with black beans, corn, tomatoes, onions and poblano avocado ranch dressing to give just a hint of spice.
After sampling an order of hand-battered shrimp and fries — which are cooked in beef tallow — the Thuesons hooked us up with Maria’s personal favorite: the HNL burger. In keeping with the restaurant’s aviation theme, it’s named after the Honolulu airport because of the Hawaiian barbecue sauce. The double burger comes with two wagyu beef blend patties, lettuce, onion, tomato, grilled pineapple, red bell peppers and cheese. It’s served with fries and your choice of drink.
The diner shares space with Uniform 12 Brewery, a local beer maker that will be opening within the next month.
After one visit, we’re already excited to go back — and we know you will be, too.
Crop Dusters Grill is open Tuesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
