By rssfeeds-admin LTN said Thursday it has expanded capabilities for its Live Event Master Control offering, a cloud-native service designed to give sports broadcasters, leagues, rights holders and content owners more automation, flexibility and operational control for live event distribution.
Built on the LTN Network, the platform combines low-latency IP transport, cloud-native playout, automation, scheduling, monitoring, graphics and optional operator-assisted services into a unified workflow tailored to live sports and events, the company said.
LTN said its master-control capabilities have supported more than 20,000 live sporting events and broadcasts worldwide. The company described the recent enhancements as improving automation, visibility and flexibility across live production workflows and helping customers avoid the cost, time and infrastructure of traditional control rooms.

- Automated workflows for frame-accurate routing, graphics, ad signaling and playback.
- Enriched graphics with integration to upstream data sources and support for picture-in-picture, squeeze backs and other on-screen layouts.
- Multi-language support, including captioning and announcer integration.
- Deep audio manipulation and video transformation.
- Advanced transmission and video/audio payload monitoring.
Customers can pick from LTN-operated Live Event Master Control services, self-service workflows driven by LTN’s scheduling, automation and monitoring software, or hybrid models that combine customer operations with LTN managed services and technical support.
Why it matters LTN said the enhancements let organizations launch and manage complex live workflows without significant capital investment in control rooms and on-premises systems. That can reduce operational cost and speed deployment for professional and collegiate sports seasons, the company said.
