NAEC right-of-way employee injured Thursday morning, airlifted to Little Rock hospital

A North Arkansas Electric Cooperative (NAEC- right-of-way employee was injured while working in Ozark Acres in Sharp County Thursday morning. He was airlifted to a Little Rock hospital.

NAEC CEO Mel Coleman says “We are thankful for the quick response of our right-of-way crew and local emergency personnel. Please join us in praying for him and his loved ones.”

NAEC says they are not releasing the employee’s name at this time.

Coleman also said “Our employees’ safety is always our top priority. We continually strive to better our existing safety protocols and will review Thursday’s event thoroughly.”
