Kenmore Coming to Convention

Sears may be gone, but its legendary appliance brand has returned, and will be making its BrandSource debut next week at the 2026 Convention.

Once lording over north of 40% of total U.S. appliance market share, the Kenmore white-goods line is now in the licensed hands of Koolatron, a 43-year-old Canadian manufacturer and distributor, known for its thermoelectric and refrigeration products and flagship collection of 12-volt coolers.

Building off that heritage, Koolatron, with offices in Ontario and New York, has developed an expansive array of kitchen, laundry and countertop products ranging from ranges, refrigerators and dishwashers to top- and front-load washers and dryers.

A Boost From BSF
Further enhancing its partnership with BrandSource: Koolatron has signed with BrandSource Financial (BSF), giving members the opportunity to finance Kenmore products interest-free through the group’s own in-house floor-planning arm, while earning an annual cash distribution in the process.

“A big welcome to Kenmore by Koolatron as BrandSource Financial’s newest vendor partner,” said BSF General Manager Chris Moore. “We are excited to bring this iconic brand name into our appliance lineup, which opens up new revenue channels for our members.”

According to Moore, Koolatron’s Kenmore line has already established a successful track record with AVB’s Canadian affiliate, MEGA Group, and is  actively driving sales, exceptional economic value and bottom-line profit for Canadian dealers.

What’s more, Koolatron’s ease of central billing has proven to be another great benefit, reported Tanya Raad, the company’s national sales manager.  

“Together we look forward to a mutually beneficial partnership, driving volume,” added Moore.
