A man was killed in St. Louis County Friday afternoon, believed to have been accidentally electrocuted by a boat that was docked on a lake.

According to the St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office, the 39-year-old man had been swimming on Lake Vermilion just before 4:47 p.m. when he grabbed the docked boat. Witnesses who saw the incident said the man appeared to receive an electrical shock and went unconscious.
