Hard Rock Bet Player Wins Record $2.1 Million Jackpot on July 4 in New Jersey

A gambler from New Jersey won $2,097,043.30 from a $2 wager. This happened on an online slot machine in the early hours of July 4. The payout marked the biggest prize Hard Rock Bet Casino has ever paid out and the first time its Mega Jackpot tier climbed past $2 million before someone claimed it.

According to Play NJ.com, the winning spins occurred on Silver Lux: Sevens Hold’em Respin. Greentube developed this slot. It has a 3×3 grid with bars and colored sevens, plus a respins round that locks matching stacks on the first two reels while the third spins again.

Hard Rock Bet added its four-tier progressive system on top of the base game. Players can buy into the network by adding $0.20 onto their wagers. The tiers? Mini, Minor, Major, and Mega.

Someone in New Jersey hit the top prize three times in three months. The streak started in May, just weeks after the operator launched the system. The first win was $1,942,272.47. Three weeks later, someone grabbed $1,937,382 on June 4.

The July 4 winner pulled in more than $154,000 above the previous high. Players in Michigan haven’t been as lucky, with four Mega winners in June taking home a combined $900,800.

The system launched in April. It works across thousands of slots on the platform. Bet sizes do not trigger a specific tier. Every spin has a random chance to give out one of the prizes, according to the operator.

Games eligible for the prizes include Cleopatra, Buffalo, Cash Eruption, Huff N More Puff, Divine Fortune, and Whitney Houston. The pool resets to $100,000 after each Mega win and has started climbing again.

Hard Rock Atlantic City also gave a Florida woman over $1 million on July 5. The operator runs both an online platform and a casino in Atlantic City.

Seminole Hard Rock Digital, LLC operates Hard Rock Bet. The company has built a presence in New Jersey through its online casino and Atlantic City property.
