Quarry Park swim beach reopened on Norfork Lake

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has reopened the swim beach at Quarry Park on Norfork Lake as of Friday afternoon.

The temporary closure which began June 26 was a result of higher than acceptable E. coli levels that were found during routine testing conducted by field office personnel. Two acceptable water samples are required by the Arkansas Department of Health prior to reopening a swim beach.
