The collection hit shelves July 1 at goatusa.com and brick-and-mortar shops. It’ll show up at the Yankees team store, www.fanatics.com, and www.MLBShop.com before the month ends.
“Growing up around New York, the Yankees were a part of the fabric of everyday life and this partnership is a dream come true,” said Dylan McLaughlin, Co-Founder of GOAT USA, in a statement. “This collection is for the fans who wear their pride every day, not just on game days. That’s exactly who GOAT USA was built for.”
Ben Rice plays first base. He liked the partnership. “When GOAT USA reached out about partnering together, I was all in,” said Rice in a statement, according to Street Insider. “I love that GOAT USA represents confidence and being the greatest version of yourself. The GOAT USA x New York Yankees collection truly is the greatest collaboration of all time.”
Rich Alfaro, TJ Cristina, and Dylan McLaughlin started the Long Island brand back in 2016. These three friends kicked things off by hawking T-shirts from a folding table at youth sports tournaments.
Word spread from teammates to families to whole towns. Now the brand shows up at hundreds of events each year and fills shelves in more than 1,000 wholesale doors and nine standalone stores across the country.
The launch arrives as the lifestyle brand hits its 10th year. What began on local sidelines has blossomed into a deal with one of baseball’s most famous franchises.
MLB has 30 member clubs in the U.S. and Canada. The league posted three straight years of attendance gains for the first time in 18 years and remains the best-attended sports league on the planet.
Game Seven of the 2025 World Series presented by Capital One pulled 51.0 million viewers combined across the United States, Canada, and Japan. That 11-inning contest was the most-watched MLB game in 34 years.
MLB.TV broke a consumption record last season. Fans watched 19.4 billion minutes, which jumped 34% over the year before.
