$8 million Baxter Lab addition and new car wash lead June building permits

In June, 17 building permits were issued in Mountain Home, led by an $8 million commercial addition for Baxter Healthcare Corporation and a news car wash on the west side of the city according to a report from the City of Mountain Home’s Building Inspection Manager Jeannie Anderson.

Commercial permits were led by a commercial addition issued to Baxter Healthcare Corporation, located at 1900 Highway 201 North, for a construction value of $8,032,072. A new commercial building permit was issued to Bomber Wash, located at 305 Libby Drive, for a construction value of $3,716,440. A commercial remodel permit was issued to Arkansas State University, located at 1600 South College Street, for a construction value of $25,000. A remodel permit was issued to Noah’s Ark Preschool, located at 202 Springwood Drive, for a construction value of $20,000.





A commercial sign permit was issued to Dollar General, located at 1327 Highway 5 South, for a construction value of $3,500. A commercial ACC structure permit was issued to Chens Garden Joy Inc., located at 1310 East Side Center 7, for a construction value of $2,725. A commercial addition permit was issued to Tristen Hobbs, located at 312 Highway 201 North, for a construction value of $1,900. A commercial sign permit was issued to Iron Rock Law Firm, located at 1107 Highway 62 East, for a construction value of $1,035.

Commercial permits totaled $11,802,672 in construction value, with $25,133.02 in fees collected.

Residential permits were led by a residential remodel permit issued to Eric Turner, located at 51 Western Hills Loop, for a construction value of $85,000. A residential addition permit was issued to Kris Sperry, located at 505 Justis Street, for a construction value of $9,500. A residential storage building permit was issued to Samantha Sparks, located at 313 Glenstone Drive, for a construction value of $8,702. A second residential storage building permit was issued to James Anderson, located at 1645 Meadowbrook Drive, for a construction value of $5,000.

A residential addition permit was issued to Merla Hill, located at 312 High Avenue, for a construction value of $2,500. A residential storage building permit was issued to Christi Cooper, located at 1112 Brookeforest Drive, for a construction value of $2,400. A residential addition permit was issued to Michael Lenz, located at 505 Benton Street, for a construction value of $999. A residential remodel permit was issued to George Recktenwald, located at 1821 Fuller Street, for a construction value of $100. A residential storage building permit was issued to Cathy Ann Grandinetti, located at 1009 Bluebird Lane.

Residential permits totaled $114,201 in construction value, with $308 in fees collected.

Altogether, the June permits represented $11,916,873 in construction value and $25,441.02 in fees collected.
