By rssfeeds-admin ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): Allen County officials are notifying residents of a temporary road closure on Hathaway Road for utility work later this week.
According to the Allen County Highway Department, Hathaway Road will be fully closed at the intersection of Bethel Road, between Hand Road and State Road 3, for a water main installation project.
The closure is scheduled to begin at 7 a.m. Wednesday, June 10, and continue through 5 p.m. Friday, June 12.
Officials said the closure will remain in place around the clock during the construction period. Motorists are encouraged to plan alternate routes and allow extra travel time.
The Allen County Highway Department said construction signage and traffic control measures will be provided by API. Notifications regarding the closure have been distributed to local schools, emergency services, municipal agencies, public transportation providers and media outlets.
The project is expected to be completed and the roadway reopened by the end of the day Friday, weather permitting.
