The company serves made-to-order wings hand-tossed in 15 sauces you won’t find anywhere else. Sandwiches appear on the menu too. So do waffle fries, mozzarella sticks, and onion rings. All chicken is fresh — never frozen, all-natural, hormone-free, and halal.
Zak Omar serves as CEO. He said the brand is on track for 100% growth this year. “We’re at a pivotal moment as a brand,” Omar told NJBiz. “What makes this especially meaningful is that we’re doing it by doubling down on our home market.”
Omar added that New York and New Jersey are where the story began. He sees a huge opportunity to keep building density there while introducing the concept to new communities across the country.
Moustafa owns and operates two existing spots in New York City. He’ll oversee the New Jersey expansion in addition to his Brooklyn operations.
“Having the opportunity to grow with Atomic Wings in both Brooklyn and now New Jersey speaks to the strength of the brand and the opportunity we see ahead,” said Moustafa. “The concept resonates because it delivers quality, consistency, and bold flavor, and we believe there is tremendous room for growth throughout the region.”
The chain plans to nearly double in size this year. More than 20 new openings are coming. Five additional restaurants will open in New York, bringing total expansion in the New York City metropolitan area to 11 stores.
The company also expects to open 11 more spots in Texas, South Dakota, Minnesota, Ohio, and Illinois. The expansion aims to build presence in key regional markets outside the Northeast.
