Kokusai Denki Electric America Bringing 4K & Remote Production Solution To InfoComm

Kokusai Denki Electric America will demonstrate a lineup of professional imaging products at InfoComm 2026, June 17-19 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, that the company says offer flexible, cost-conscious paths to native 4K production and more efficient remote workflows for AV professionals.

The company will show its new Z-HD6500-S1 UHD/HD production camera system at Booth N8025. The camera, built on Kokusai Denki’s Z-HD6500 platform and borrowing imaging technology from the SK-UHD7000, uses 2/3-inch UHD-native sensors with RGB three-chip technology and about 8.3 million effective pixels per sensor. The company says the design balances image quality and budget considerations for organizations that want to protect long-term investments while expanding to 4K.

Kokusai Denki says the Z-HD6500-S1 includes a native 4K global shutter to reduce flicker and banding with LED lighting and large-format displays. The camera also offers a quarter ND filter for shallow-depth shooting, a low-pass filter to cut moiré, and high sensitivity with strong signal-to-noise performance for low-light conditions.

The company will also show the DK-H700 compact multi-format box camera, a point-of-view solution designed for discreet placement in sports venues, auditoriums, houses of worship and other spaces that require compact systems and focused camera positioning.

Complementing the cameras is the RU-2500JY remote control panel, which Kokusai Denki says is aimed at REMI and decentralized production workflows. The panel supports Power over Ethernet connectivity, both IP-based and traditional infrastructures, a 3.5-inch touch panel and backlit controls in a slim 82 mm (3.2-inch) housing.

“Today’s AV customers want production systems that deliver premium image quality while also giving them flexibility in how and when they transition to 4K,” said Sean Moran, Kokusai Denki chief operating officer. “At InfoComm, we’re demonstrating solutions that provide a practical, scalable path forward — whether customers are upgrading existing HD workflows, expanding into REMI production models, or deploying compact camera systems for specialized applications.”
