Baxter-Marion Rural Water boil order remains in effect

The Baxter-Marion Rural Water Association has fixed the water main break affecting customers in the Oakland Road area. The boil order issued remains in effect for customers in the Oakland portion of the water system until further notice.

All affected customers are advised that water may be unsafe for consumption and should be boiled briskly for at least one minute before drinking or using in food preparation. Ice made from tap water should be discarded.KTLO, Classic Hits and the Boot will provide updates as more information becomes available.
