By rssfeeds-admin ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): Drivers in Elkhart will face a temporary detour as the Jackson Boulevard bridge closes for several weeks beginning Wednesday.
City officials say the closure is needed for construction work tied to a project separating sewage and stormwater systems.
The bridge is expected to remain closed until June 18.
A posted detour will direct traffic along South Elkhart Avenue while crews complete the work.
