
PHINNEYVILLE – A busy morning for northern Schuylkill firefighters continued as crews responded to a second alarm house fire in East Union Township.
Around 10am, crews were called to a home at 455 Phinneyville Road for a report of a house fire.
Sheppton-Oneida firefighters arrived to find the home aflame and a second alarm was struck as fire quickly enveloped the home.
Also responding were crews from Nuremberg-Weston, Ringtown, Shenandoah Heights, Mahanoy City, Shenandoah, Englewood, Hazle Township, Aristes, Ryan Township, Hometown, and Girardville, among others.
No injuries were immediately reported.
