The Gamesir G7 Pro Is My Favorite Gaming Controller for PC, and It’s on Sale for Memorial Day

The G7 Pro is Gamesir’s flagship controller, and despite its reasonable price tag, it competes with heavy hitters like the Xbox Elite. It’s a solidly built controller with premium components like magnetic resistance TMR analog sticks for precise and drift-free performance, Hall Effect analog triggers with clicky micro-switch trigger stops, mechanical micro-switch D-pad with swappable patterns, and optical micro-switch ABXY buttons. In addition to the dual joystocks, ABXY buttons, D-pad, and triggers, you get four more mappable buttons: two mini bumpers next to the triggers and two lockable back buttons. The G7 Pro also features haptic feedback from four internal rumble motors and a built-in gyroscope.

This is a PC gaming controller at its core with the option for both wired and 2.4GHz wireless connectivity (dongle included) with 1,000Hz polling rate. GameSir’s Nexus app allows you to tweak gyro settings, stick curve adjustments, button-to-mouse mapping, and more. However, it is also compatible with Nintendo Switch and Android devices (not iOS) over Bluetooth and Xbox consoles via wired only.

The internal 1,200mAh battery will give you up to 10 hours of playtime. Gamesir generously includes a handy no-nonsense charging dock with USB cable in the package. Most other high-end controllers require you to pay extra for the dock.

This is actually the very first time I’ve seen this controller for sale on AliExpress and shipping from a local US warehouse. I’ve been waiting for a deal to pop up so I could champion its merits. The G7 Pro has been daily driver and I’ve been playing all types of games, including Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, Hollow Knight: Silksong, Crimson Desert, and most recently Forza: Horizon 6 on it.
