Brightcove powers more than 38 million daily viewer experiences across 230-plus countries for broadcasters, sports organizations, digital publishers and enterprises. With Prism, the company aims to bring the platform experience in line with its underlying video technology, improving clarity, consistency and usability across modules.
Developed after a comprehensive interface audit and co-creation with more than 100 customers, Prism focuses on faster daily workflows, more intuitive navigation and a unified interaction model designed to help new users get up to speed quickly while reducing operational friction for experienced teams.
“Brightcove customers run complex and demanding video operations,” said Facundo Alvarez Morales, Brightcove product lead. “With Prism, we set out to raise the bar on the platform experience itself, working alongside our customers to make it faster, clearer and more intuitive, while preserving the workflows they trust. This launch marks a major step forward for the Brightcove platform.”
Prism’s debut comes amid an accelerated cadence of product releases at Brightcove, it says. Over the past 12 months, the company has shipped more than 20 major enhancements, including Live 4K streaming, SSAI with DRM, vertical video support, animated thumbnails and a new AI Suite.
Since Brightcove’s acquisition by Bending Spoons in February 2025, the company said its product delivery has quickened through tighter customer feedback loops and increased investment in AI-driven innovation. Features in development include live captions, contextual advertising and additional platform improvements slated through 2026.
