Troop N – Hazleton held a memorial ceremony in the Slusser/Bayzick Building at Penn State Hazleton, moved there from the barracks due to inclement weather.
Trooper Anthony Petroski, Troop N Public Information Officer, said 105 members had lost their lives in the line of duty in the department’s history. Retired members of Troop N read their names aloud.
“Their names are etched in our hearts and on our memorial walls,” Captain Devon M. Brutosky, keynote speaker, said. “Their service and their lives stand as a testament to the highest ideals of courage, integrity, and selflessness.”
