The blueCORE line supports up to four 3G channels or one 12G channel with copper and fiber SDI inputs and outputs, plus ST 2110/IPMX I/O. Units feature a large touchscreen and illuminated knobs for local configuration and direct control, and can also be managed via a Web GUI. Power consumption is less than 80W for the ST 2110 version.
Capabilities include up/down/cross conversion, color correction, multiple HDR processing modes, audio routing and mixing, per-channel frame sync, frame rate conversion, audio embedding and de-embedding, SCTE-104 insertion and logo insertion.
“blueCORE answers the need for a fully featured processor that fits into even the most compact spaces while delivering an exceptional range of capabilities,” said Suzana Brady, SVP, worldwide sales and marketing. “With support for both SDI and ST 2110/IPMX, it is especially attractive to those transitioning from SDI to IP.”
BlueCORE joins Cobalt’s broader NAB lineup, including Pacific compression, new 9925-FSx Frame Sync and 9981-LUTx color processor openGear cards, ARIA audio monitor series, UltraBlue MV-SW multiviewers, Sapphire ST 2110 mini converters and Indigo IP gateways.
