Avengers: Doomsday Spoiler Leaked by Composer
Legendary composer Alan Silvestri has revealed a spoilery location that looks set to appear in Avengers: Doomsday.
The upcoming Marvel epic will be the latest MCU blockbuster composed by Silvestri, who previously handled the score for the original Avengers, as well as Captain America: The First Avenger, Infinity War and Endgame.
Now, Silvestri is back in the recording booth once again — as glimpsed via a now-deleted post on Instagram that revealed he was working on the score for a scene set in the Armor Room of Doomstadt.

Of course, Doomstadt is the capital of Latveria, the fictional country from which Doctor Doom originates. Eagle-eyed fans will have seen the nation referenced in last year’s The Fantastic Four: First Steps (with some suggestion that the MCU’s version of Doom will also originate from that same reality).
Now, we seemingly have confirmation that Avengers: Doomsday will feature scenes in Doomstadt — and not only that, but Robert Downey Jr.’s new Armor Room lair. (It is likely no coincidence that this new character played by the Iron Man veteran also has an interest in armor.)
While some fans believed Silvestri’s image to be an official tease, the post’s swift deletion instead rather suggests this is information that Marvel would have preferred remained under wraps.
“It’s our universe. It’s a multiverse. We can do whatever the heck we want,” Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige said last week, when discussing Downey Jr.’s return. “He played the most iconic hero. Let’s have him play the most iconic villain.”
We’ll learn more about Doom — and presumably, Doomstadt — when Avengers: Doomsday arrives on December 18, 2026. But could we see the location beforehand? It’s worth remembering that Marvel plans to re-release Avengers: Endgame this September with new footage added in. Perhaps we’ll get a check-in with Doom in Latveria then, to see what he was up to while the Avengers defeated Thanos?
Following all of that, Avengers: Secret Wars (which Silvestri will also serve as composer for) will tie up Marvel’s Multiverse Saga on December 17, 2027.
