Fundraiser set up for Leverett family displaced by fire
LEVERETT — An online fundraiser is underway to assist a family who lost their home and possessions to a late-night fire on April 12.
The GoFundMe initiative will benefit Tani Wilson, a Shutesbury native, as well as her boyfriend and his four children, who are all 7 and under. Their North Leverett Road residence was destroyed in the blaze.
The fundraiser is organized by Wilson’s daughter, Taiya Anaya.
“We are so grateful that everyone made it out safely,” Anaya writes. “They are now staying with me, so they do have a place to be — but they are starting over with nothing and will need help rebuilding their lives.”
Money collected will go toward replacing essentials, clothing and generally helping the family.
