DV said the capability blends AI-driven analysis with human oversight to identify and categorize low-quality material at scale. Integrated with DV’s pre-bid brand suitability controls on social and proprietary video platforms, the tool is intended to help advertisers refine where their ads appear, maintain media quality standards and sustain performance across dynamic social environments.
DV introduced DV AI Verification in November 2025 to help advertisers identify AI agent interactions and avoid low-quality AI-generated content across digital environments. AI SlopStopper is a core capability within DV AI Verification, which is part of DV’s Media AdVantage Platform combining media verification, ad optimization and outcomes measurement.
DV said AI SlopStopper pre-screen avoidance is currently available on YouTube. DV said its suitability categories are based on proprietary definitions and have not been reviewed by Google. Support for additional social and video-centric platforms is expected later this year.
