HAZLETON – Hundreds came out to downtown Hazleton to see and pick from more than 50,000 donated tulips as part of the second annual Tulip Day event.

It took place at CAN DO Community Park at Broad and Laurel Streets in the city. Van Hoekelen Greenhouses, McAdoo, donated the tulips.

Adults were able to pick ten tulips free of charge to take home. A decorative windmill and other photo opportunities were also set up.

The event also featured a DJ and multiple food trucks.
