FiberSaver-10G brings 10GbE connectivity to the FiberSaver line to aggregate multiple 10G signals onto a single strand, targeting IP-based workflows including SMPTE ST 2110, Dante AV and NDI. MultiDyne says deployments can reduce required fiber by up to 94%. The platform supports mixed 1G, 10G and 25G configurations and offers an external redundant power option.
“10 gig is becoming the new baseline for media networks,” said Jesse Foster, MultiDyne director of strategic accounts and products. “With FiberSaver-10G, we’re giving customers a simple way to trunk multiple high-bandwidth networks together and dramatically reduce fiber usage without compromising signal integrity.”
The new VF-9100 evolves the VF-9000 platform with a hardware controller that adds RESTful API support for integration with facility control systems. Additional updates include a redesigned chassis with improved card guides, enhanced rack options for flypacks and higher-capacity internal power supplies. New modular cards for audio, serial data, GPIO and genlock/timecode broaden its role as a signal transport hub.
Like its predecessor, the VF-9100 supports high-density multiplexing, enabling up to 18 signals over a single fiber or 36 in dual configurations across SDI and IP workflows.
“Together, these solutions reflect MultiDyne’s focus on practical, engineering-driven innovations that solve real-world challenges in broadcast and AV environments,” said Frank Jachetta, MultiDyne CEO.
