Pokémon Pokopia Update Released, Includes Fix for Missing Pokémon
Pokémon Pokopia has a new update available on Switch 2, with a fix for your missing creatures and habitats.
Pokopia launched for Switch 2 back in March to huge success, with more than 2.2 million copies sold and a warm reception from both critics and fans alike for its cosy sandbox life sim vibes.
Since launch, however, fans have noted that filling up your islands with too many creatures can sometimes cause habitats to no longer be found. You can search for them via the Pokédex — though this too has not always worked. Now, happily, the issue appears to be fixed.
Alongside a list of other bug fixes, the above issue is included in Pokémon Pokopia’s Version 1.0.3 update, which is available to download now for all Switch 2 owners. There’s also a partial fix for a problem where your controller was left vibrating “continuously” — something that has apparently now been made to “less likely occur.”

While bugs are inevitable, Pokémon Pokopia is certainly having a better of it than Pokémon Champions, the franchise’s new battle-focused entry that arrived this week to a raft of complaints over its technical issues and lack of features.
Back in Pokopia, meanwhile, players have been pushing the game to its limits by building advanced creations including a working calculator, while others have leant into the series’ lore by finally hiding Mew under a truck. There’s even an official IKEA crossover.
