The release targets three areas for broadcasters and content owners: live broadcast feed distribution, direct-to-consumer (D2C) OTT streaming and inline AI video intelligence.
The Bucharest release is designed to replace legacy satellite distribution, fiber point-to-point connections and ground-to-cloud multi-point egress solutions for live broadcast feed distribution. It uses a decentralized any-to-any routing architecture where a single ingest workflow serves all downstream takers without file copies.
“Broadcasters and content owners face urgent challenges: satellite and legacy cloud distribution models are inefficient, costly and outdated, while video AI workflows remain disconnected from distribution and difficult to scale,” Michelle Munson, Eluvio CEO and co-founder, said. “The Bucharest release addresses these issues simultaneously through a unified zero-copy architecture. It replaces legacy economics with an any-to-any distribution model that preserves maximum efficiency at scale.”
The Global Broadcast Fabric features sub-500ms global latency and SMPTE 2022-7 decentralized multipath synchronization. It supports ingest for JPEG-XS, AVC/HEVC and SRT from cameras, encoders or broadcast trucks.
For D2C OTT streaming, the Content Fabric has powered more than 600 live events. The Bucharest release includes Pocket TV, a white-labeled microsite for live and episodic content sales that requires no login and supports single-click Apple Pay and Google Pay. A Tier 1 U.S. broadcast network is scheduled to deploy the feature in 2026.
Complementing the release is Eluvio AI and the Eluvio Video Intelligence Editor (EVIE). The system provides inline, frame-accurate, multimodal AI built natively into the platform. It runs inference on live and VOD content at the frame and segment level with no file copies or transcoding required.
Eluvio will host keynotes and case study demonstrations during the NAB Show in Las Vegas, April 18–22. Registration and further details are available at nab.eluv.io.
