Already deployed extensively by NBC Sports, FOR-A Corp. will demonstrate GoVertical! AiDi, the real-time 9:16 autocropping feature of viztrick AiDi, during the NAB Show in Las Vegas, April 18-22, in Booth #C4920. viztrick AiDi is an on-device AI solution developed by Nippon TV, delivered globally by FOR-A, and powered by NVIDIA AI infrastructure.
The AI-powered technology operates at broadcast speed, enabling near-real-time processing. Powered by NVIDIA’s high-performance GPUs, it allows for live streaming while ensuring audiences experience moments as they happen.
“We needed a way to produce high-quality 9:16 live content with virtually no delay,” Tim Canary, NBC Sports SVP, engineering, said. “viztrick AiDi does exactly that. The AI tracking is fast, accurate, and reliable — and when you need manual control, it’s instantly available. It gives us flexibility without sacrificing the pace or quality of our live coverage.”
The system delivers real-time player tracking, face tagging, object recognition, 2.5D telestration, auto-score graphics and motion data analytics. Unlike cloud-based alternatives, the technology operates entirely on-device, eliminating reliance on internet connectivity for outside broadcast and remote production environments.
