We reviewed the Darkplates 2.0 and really liked it! Starting tomorrow, April 2, Sony will raise the manufacturer’s suggested retail pricing on consoles. New prices will be:
- PlayStation 5 Pro – $899.99 (up from $749.99)
- PS5 Slim Disc Edition – $649.99 (up from $549.99)
- PS5 Slim Digital Edition – $599.99 (up from $499.99)
If you don’t own a PS5, you can also consider purchasing a refurbished model from PlayStation Direct, Sony’s official online storefront for PS5 hardware. As of this post, the PS5 Slim Disc Edition is still selling for $449 and the Digital Edition for $399. Best of all, you still get the same 1-year warranty as buying brand new.
