Paramount continued to make big moves in March, though Paramount+ subscribers likely won’t see the impact until later this year. In addition to winning the bid to buy Warner Bros, the company also acquired Tyler Perry’s stake in BET+, and is folding it into its own streaming services this summer when it shuts down. Paramount boss David Ellison has said a similar thing will happen to HBO Max if that deal goes through. So you’ve got that to look forward to.
As for what’s new to stream on Paramount+ this month, there’s quite a bit to look forward to. There’s a massive wave of new movies coming to the platform on April 1 and new episodes of the popular Yellowstone spin-off, Marshalls, airing weekly. For live events, there’s also The Masters tournament as well as UFC 327.

Since Paramount+ doesn’t have a free trial anymore, the only way to get access to a Paramount+ Essentials subscription without paying anything is via Walmart+, which actually does offer a free trial for new subscribers.
