Disney has revealed a ton of exciting details for 2026’s D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, including ticket prices, when the tickets will go on sale, and a tease of its “largest and most innovative D23 show floor.”
This year’s D23 is taking place in Anaheim, California, August 14, 15, and 16, and it will once again be a nearly week-long celebration of all things Disney, Pixar, Star Wars, Marvel, National Geographic, and so much more. If you’d like to join in on the fun, you’ll be able to secure your tickets very soon.
Ticket and Pricing Details Revealed for D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event
All D23 Gold Members, including those on the complimentary Gold Member plan via Disney+ Perks or on Gold Essential, Choice, and Complete plans, will be able to buy tickets, but they will be rolling out in tiers. You can check out all the ticket details and join the queue right here, but we’ll also break it down below.
The first batch will go live on Tuesday, March 31, at 10am PT / 1pm ET for current D23 Gold Charter Members for an exclusive 24-hour window.
For those D23 Gold Members on Essential, Choice, and Complete plans, your tickets will go live on Thursday, April 2, at 10am PT / 1pm ET. All other D23 Gold Members will be able to join that same queue at 12pm PT / 3pm ET on the same day.
Each Gold Member can purchase tickets for themselves and up to five guests, the latter of whom do not have to be D23 Gold Members to attend. As for pricing, these are the details from Disney itself;
- D23 Fan Pass (Anaheim Convention Center only), available for $49 (Afternoon Only), $99 (1‑Day), or $297 (3‑Day)
- D23 Ultimate Fan Pass, which includes access to both the Anaheim Convention Center and the Honda Center showcases, with pricing beginning at $99 for a 1‑Day and $297 for a 3‑Day package
- The D23 Ultimate Preferred Fan Pass delivers three days of floor seating at the Honda Center, three days of Anaheim Convention Center access, and exclusive Random Selection Process (RSP) opportunities for select limited-edition pins, with pricing ranging from $1,299 to $2,599 depending on location.
- Each ticket is subject to a $11.25 service fee, and each transaction is subject to a $16 delivery fee.
If you happen to miss out on tickets the first time around, there will be a limited-time waitlist after ticket sales close.
What to Expect From D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event in 2026
D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event is a celebration of past, present, and future of all things Disney, Pixar, Star Wars, Marvel, and so much more. This will be seen in exciting panels that will preview what’s next, panels that dive deep into our favorite stories, and activations and events that will allow us to participate in this fandom we love on a greater scale.
While the big ticket items will be the marquee presentation each of the main days – the Disney Entertainment Showcase on August 14, the Disney Experiences Showcase on August 15, and the Disney Legends Awards Ceremony on August 16 – the fun kicks off even before the show officially starts.
The festivities will all begin on Saturday, August 8, with the opening of the Walt Disney Archives’ Muzeo Museum and Cultural Center, Capturing Life, Creating Character: The Art of Live-Action. On Tuesday, August 11, D23 Night at the Anaheim Packing District will take place, featuring music, trivia, fan activities, and the sixth annual World Taste of the Packing District.
On Wednesday, August 12, fans can attend D23 Night at Angel Stadium to cheer on the Angels as they take on the Texas Rangers. The first 23,000 attendees will receive a themed D23 Mickey Mouse Bobblehead, with 2,300 of them being an exclusive gold variant.
On Thursday, August 13, D23 Day at Disneyland Resort will kick off the weekend with a Disney Legends Cavalcade, a giveaway of complimentary Mickey Mouse ear hats, magical suprises, a Disney Jr. Let’s Play! Party at Disney California Adventure Park, and so much more.
During the actual show dates, the Anaheim Convention Center will host more that 50 panels and presentations that provide fans with “behind-the-scenes insights, first looks, and conversations with the storytellers behind some of Disney’s most iconic worlds.”
There will also be the return of fan favorite programing like the D23 Mousequerade: The Ultimate Disney Costume Contest and even the premiere of a new feature-length documentary from The Imagineering Story and Disneyland Handcrafted’s Leslie Iwerks that will provide fans with an “exclusive look at a powerful new Disney story told through her singular lens.”
As for the show floor, there will be experiences to enjoy like Mundo Pixar: The D23 Experience, which will give fans an exclusive look at the immersive walk-through experience that is touring worldwide and features life-size sets of various Pixar films.
Additionally, there will be ESPN and the Road to the Super Bowl, activations inspired by Bluey, Camp Rock 3, The Simpsons, and even a display featuring Mickey F1 and a Formula 1 car. Disney Lorcana will also be present, as the team at Ravensburger will be hosting the first-of-its-kind Disney Lorcana Challenge Championship Qualifier, which will guarantee the winner a seat at the 2027 Disney Lorcana North American Championship.
It was also revealed Walt Disney Archives: Uncrated will be a new exhibition that invited fans to “journey into the vast and hidden warehouses of the Walt Disney Archives. Guests will be able to “explore themed displays featuring shipments of iconic props, costumes, and puppets from some beloved films, television series, and theme parks, which span generations of history at The Walt Disney Company.”
Lastly, The Ultimate Disney Sweepstakes: Fan-tastic Prizes returns with some pretty massive prizes, including a chance to sail on the upcoming Disney Believe during its inaugural season, a trip on a National Geographic Journeys with G Adventures trip to Kenya to go on a Safari in celebration of Jon Favreau’s upcoming Lion series, and even a 3-day, 2-night trip to Los Angeles to attend the red-carpet world premiere of Avengers: Doosmday. All prizes to be announced and entries will open for this sweepstakes on July 23.
The 2026 Disney Legends Award Honorees Have Been Revealed
Disney will once again celebrate a group of Disney Legends Award honorees with the The Walt Disney Company’s highest honor on the last night of D23.
This Disney Legends Award Ceremony will be hosted by Ryan Seacrest and will take place on August 16 at 10:30am ET / 1:30pm PT at the Honda Center and will “be filled with tributes and unforgettable moments to honor and celebrate the icons behind the magic who have made a lasting impact on Disney.
This year, Disney is honoring a very impressive group of individuals, including;

- Dwayne Johnson
- Anne Hathaway
- Alan Tudyk
- The Jonas Brothers
- Line-Manuel Miranda
- Eric Goldberg
- Jerry Bruckheimer

The Disney Awards program has been running for 39 years after The Shaggy Dog’s Fred MacMurray was honored in 1987, and 329 Disney Legends have been named since then.
Oh, and if you can’t make it to the show, the ceremony will once again air on Disney+ so fans around the world can watch it when they can.
