Anker is one of the most recognized and trusted battery backup brands on Amazon. It’s also usually a bit pricier than the competition, but fortunately there’s a great deal to be found during the Amazon Spring Sale. Today is the last day to score the Anker SOLIX C800 X 768Wh 1,200W LiFePO4 Power Station for just $349.98 after a 46% off instant discount.
46% Off Anker SOLIX C800 X LiFePO4 Power Station
The Anker SOLIX C800 X weighs in at a portable 22 pounds, which is impressive considering the hefty 768Wh LiFePO4 battery array contained within. This is a suitable capacity for short-term off-grid use where portability is a priority, or as a quick source of backup power for your home when you don’t want to lug out the big gas generator.
The C800 X has numerous charging outputs, including five 120V AC outlets capable of 1,200W (1,600W surge) total, two USB Type-C ports (100W and 30W max respectively), two 12W USB Type-A ports, and a 12V/10A DC output. It has smart functionality and can pair with the Anker app on your smartphone so you can monitor or even control it remotely. It also features a UPS backup mode with a switchover speed under 20ms that will prevent sensitive electronics (like a CPAP machine) from shutting down during a power outage.
In terms of charging, you have three options: typical AC charging, solar charging through the DC input, or a combination of both. The C800 X supports “HyperFlash” fast-charging so you can recharge from fully depleted to 100% in about 58 minutes. The integrated battery management system optimizes charging speeds in order to extend the battery’s lifespan.
Speaking of the battery, the C800 X uses LiFePO4 cells instead of NCM cells you’d find in some other budget power stations. LiFePO4 cells have inherently safer chemistry, longer lifespan, and slower calendar aging than NCM cells. They are widely regarded as the best battery option for power stations.
