Everything Coming to Disney+ in April 2026

April showers will eventually bring May flowers, but for now, at least we’re getting some new streaming releases. Highlights coming to Disney+ in April include the continued release of Daredevil: Born Again Season 2, the premiere of the animated series Star Wars: Maul – Shadow Lord, and Spider-Man: No Way Home. Disney+ will also premiere a couple of new streams, as well as some specials in celebration of Earth Day and National Deaf History Month.

Without further ado, here’s everything coming to Disney+ in April.

April 1

• Dear Killer Nannies (Full Season)
• Donna Hay Coastal Celebrations

• Secrets of the Bees

Kicking things off, Disney+ will be premiering the Hulu original Dear Killer Nannies, a new drama series that digs into notorious criminal Pablo Escobar’s relationship with his son.

From Disney Australia, Donna Hay Coastal Celebrations is a four-part miniseries about foodie inspiration set against Sydney’s coastline. Secrets of the Bees is a National Geographic documentary covering, you guessed it, the busy lives (and vital role) of bumblebees.

Outside of premieres, Disney’s continuation of the Latin America soccer series O11CE will also get new episodes every Wednesday.

April 4

• Locker Diaries: ZOMBIES: Shorts

Locker Diaries kicked off on Disney+ last month, giving fans a glimpse into the additional drama happening at Shadyside & Sunnyside.

April 5

• Inside Out Classic: Washington Capitals vs. New York Rangers

In one of the more interesting collaborations of all time, the NHL has teamed up with ESPN and Disney for a special Inside Out-themed hockey game. The Inside Out Classic will feature real-time animations, including the Emotions themselves skating on the ice, as the NHL shows off some new technology.

April 6

• Star Wars: Maul – Shadow Lord (Premiere, Chapters 1 + 2)
• American Idol (Season 9)
• In Your Radiant Season (Hulu Original)

A massive highlight from the Star Wars side of things, Star Wars: Maul – Shadow Lord is a new animated mini-series that takes place soon after The Clone Wars. The series follows former Sith Lord Maul, with Clone Wars voice actor Sam Witwer returning to the role, as he forms an unlikely alliance with a Jedi during the reign of the Galactic Empire.

April 7

• Daredevil: Born Again (Season 2, Episode 4)

The latest from the MCU, Daredevil: Born Again Season 2, will continue to stream new episodes at 6pm PT every Tuesday. Our full review of Season 2 calls out “too many characters and subplots,” but praises the overall action. You can check out individual episode reviews here.

• RoboGobo (Season 2)
• Perfect Crown (Hulu Original)

Perfect Crown is another Hulu original making its way over to Disney+. The new K-drama stars IU as the illegitimate daughter of Castle Group and Byeon Woo-seok as the second son of the King. Release details are slim, but the series is reported to be getting new episodes on both Fridays and Saturdays.

The preschooler-oriented series RoboGobo will also continue to get new episodes as part of its second season.

April 11

Season 24 of American Idol will be continue to stream new episodes at the same time they’re broadcast on ABC.

April 14

April 15

• O11CE: New Generation (New Episodes)
• Spider-Man: No Way Home

Just in time for Brand New Day, Spider-Man: No Way Home is finally making its way to Disney+. For context, while this is certainly an MCU movie, the Spider-Man licensing is a total mess, and currently requires all Spider-Man movies to stream on Starz before landing on the Disney-owned service. We considered the Spidey crossover a particularly strong point for the MCU in our original review.

April 17

• Little Margo Stories: Shorts
• Perfect Crown (Hulu Original)

Little Margo Stories has been a particularly acclaimed animated series for children, so it isn’t surprising that Disney+ wanted in. While most of these shorts are already available on YouTube, they’ll soon be added to the streamer’s library.

April 18

In celebration of Earth Day, Disney+ will be premiering its original documentary, Orangutan, with narration from Josh Gad (Frozen, New Girl). The streamer will also be getting the second season of its Mickey Mouse Clubhouse reboot.

April 24

• The Prep School Disappearance
• Perfect Crown (Hulu Original)

The Prep School Disappearance is in fact a Lifetime movie that was originally released last year. The title pretty much covers it.

April 25

• Banana Ball: Party Animals vs. Bananas (ESPN Unlimited, Disney+)
• Perfect Crown (Hulu Original)

The match-up of a lifetime. The Savannah Bananas are taking on their biggest rival, the Party Animals, in this televised game from the Banana Ball.

April 27

• American Idol (Season 9)
• Star Wars: Maul – Shadow Lord (Chapters 7 + 8)
• Disney Animation’s “Songs in Sign Language” (Disney+ Original)

Disney+ is premiering new ASL versions of three classic songs toward the end of April, which happens to be National Deaf History Month. The collection will include We Don’t Talk About Bruno (Encanto), The Next Right Thing (Frozen 2), and Beyond (Moana 2).

April 28

• Daredevil: Born Again (Season 2, Episode 7)

April 29

• SuperKitties (Season 3)

April 30

• Project Runway All Stars (Seasons 5-7)

To wrap things up, Disney+ will be picking up a couple of seasons of Project Runway All Stars to join the streamer’s existing spread from the original reality series.
