Sony shocked everyone recently by announcing global price increases for all PS5 consoles, which go into effect April 2. With the PS5 Pro’s price approaching $1,000 now, people are scrambling to buy a PS5 before next week. Since the price isn’t going down anytime soon, one of the better deals right now is for a like-new PS5 Pro at Amazon Resale for under $715. Stock is likely limited, so don’t wait too long or you might be out of luck.
Amazon Resale is actually having a Big Spring Sale of its own this week, offering up to 40% off used and open box products.
Save on a Like-New PS5 Pro at Amazon Resale
Amazon Resale is offering a like-new PS5 Pro for $712.18, which is more than $185 off the new price of $899 that goes into effect next week. This is likely the lowest we’ll see the PS5 Pro for quite some time, as growing concerns due to tariffs and the rising cost of RAM continue to impact the global landscape. So, if you’ve been on the fence about upgrading your base PS5, or jumping straight into a PS5 Pro, this is a great option.
Amazon describes the condition as “Used: Like New,” adding the comment “Screen is like new with no visible scratches. Minor packaging damage observed during inspection.” While I’m not sure what screen they are referring to on the console, it sounds like these may just be PS5 Pros whose boxes were damaged during transit.
When it originally launched in 2024, PS5 Pro was already one of the most expensive home consoles ever released at $699. Now, nearly 18 months later, it’s starting to look like a great deal. With Sony potentially pushing the PS6 back to 2028-29, PS5 Pro is unequivocally the best way to experience current and upcoming games that will push the console to its limits like GTA 6, The Witcher IV, Divinity, and more.
