Research

A study by AccountsIQ has found that Finance leaders are generally seen as cautious, especially when it comes to new technology. However, AI seems to be the exception that proves the rule. It’s also found that finance leaders are convinced of AI’s potential.

Thomson Reuters has published the 2026 State of the Corporate Law Department. They found that while GCs believe they have successfully modernised their departments over the last few years, the report highlights a gap between what GCs believe their departments deliver and what the wider business does.

AnywhereNow

Tendfor, a contact centre solution certified for Microsoft Teams from AnywhereNow, has launched in Canada. The expansion is about more than geography. It’s about data sovereignty: the principle that all data collected, processed, and stored for Canadian customers stays fully within Canada’s borders, under Canadian jurisdiction, and protected by Canadian law.

Tendfor also supports full multi‑language phrase handling, including Canadian English and Canadian French, a key requirement for Canadian enterprises serving bilingual customer bases.

These enable users to plan, protect margins, and make pricing decisions faster and more confidently with advanced, intuitive planning tools. There are also enhancements to AP automation with AP Assist integration.

In addition, the customer portal enables B2B customers to use self-service account management tools, reducing support calls while accelerating collections. Epicor has also integrated the Epicor Knowledge Agent to reduce training time and allow users to solve problems independently with in-app AI-powered help and contextual guides.

Amit Bendov, CEO and Co-Founder, Gong, said, “AI only creates value when it drives action. Since we began 10 years ago, Gong has taken an AI-first approach to helping revenue teams operate more efficiently and effectively, embedding intelligence directly into their daily work so they can turn customer data into measurable outcomes.

“This recognition underscores our commitment to continuous innovation that transforms how go-to-market teams execute, collaborate, and win.”

Logicalis

Acquisition of NetworkedAssets

Logicalis Germany has acquired NetworkedAssets, a specialist in software development, network automation and diagnostics. The acquisition includes NetworkedAssets’ Berlin office and its broader operations in Wrocław, Poland, where the majority of the company’s employees are based.

With this move, Logicalis is strategically expanding its expertise in software development, observability, and automation for infrastructure and network solutions, thereby addressing the growing complexity of modern IT infrastructure.

Stefan Hoeltken, Managing Director of Logicalis Connected, commented, “The integration of NetworkedAssets into the Logicalis Group is a logical next step to further deepen our collaboration. By combining our network and cloud expertise with NetworkedAssets’ software, automation and diagnostics capabilities, we are able to support our customers even more quickly and efficiently in addressing their network and cloud challenges.”

CIO Report

Earlier this month, Logicalis published its CIO report. Last week, it revealed further insights from the research. It noted that while AI is now widely deployed, governance gaps and organisational behaviours are increasing security risks. The evidence for this is :

  • 41% of UK CIOs say AI has worsened incident response times
  • 35% believe AI has reduced their organisation’s ability to detect breaches effectively
  • 34% say AI has created new cybersecurity blind spots within their organisation

Mike Fry, Infrastructure, Data & Security Solutions Director at Logicalis UKI, commented, “AI is introducing a new level of complexity into enterprise environments, and security teams are being asked to manage risks that are evolving just as quickly as the technology itself.

“As organisations embed AI more deeply into their operations, maintaining visibility and control becomes significantly more challenging, particularly if governance frameworks, skills and oversight are not evolving at the same pace.

“We are well beyond the proof of concept stage with AI. When only a third of organisations have full visibility of AI usage, it’s a clear sign that this is no longer just a technology challenge; it’s a cultural one. Most organisations are now trying to scale AI, but without the right behaviours, accountability and oversight in place, visibility quickly breaks down.

“As AI systems become more embedded and autonomous, the role of the CIO is evolving rapidly. Success will depend not just on deploying AI, but on building the organisational discipline, accountability and expertise needed to manage it securely at scale.”

Monta

Monta announced the acquisition of the CPMS software customer contracts operated by Vourity, ABB E-mobility’s Nordic subsidiary. ABB E-mobility identified Monta as the strongest CPMS solution in the Nordics region and the ideal partner to ensure continuity and quality of service for its customers.

This acquisition is part of a broader consolidation trend reshaping the European CPMS landscape. As the market matures, operators are increasingly looking to partner with established, full-featured platforms. Monta is at the forefront of this shift, bringing together best-in-class technology and a growing customer base across Europe.

Casper Rasmussen, CEO, Monta, commented, “This acquisition reflects our ambition to be the leading CPMS platform in Europe and our commitment to providing the best possible home for charge point operators looking for a reliable, innovative, and long-term partner. As the market consolidates, Monta is well positioned to lead that charge.”

NetApp

NetApp announced a partnership with Elastio to help enterprises enhance their cyber resilience with a layered defence that extends from production storage to recovery data. The companies are embedding Elastio’s Provable Recovery Control into the NetApp Ransomware Resilience Service as “Powered by Elastio,” adding Deep File Inspection of snapshots.

Together, the service delivers end-to-end resilience from ransomware detection through recovery – using recovery points that are continuously verified as clean.

Gagan Gulati, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Data Services, NetApp stated, “Storage needs to be part of the conversation when defining a holistic cybersecurity strategy. By protecting data where it lives, we make Storage a priority to combat cyber threats like ransomware.

“But the stakes for business resilience and operational continuity are too high to rely on a single layer of defense. By collaborating with Elastio, we’re giving enterprises another tool to protect their most critical asset: data.”
