
The upgrade, conducted in collaboration with broadcast services provider NVP, includes the use of Grass Valley’s Altair 12G routers. The routers support high-density 12G-SDI infrastructures optimized for live sports production.
The system works in conjunction with the AMPP OS platform, a cloud-native media processing system designed to enable flexible, remote production workflows. Grass Valley, a provider of media and entertainment solutions, said the platform is intended to boost agility for broadcasters.
The deployment also features LDX 100 and 90 Series cameras, which provide Ultra HD and HDR imaging tailored for live football.
Grass Valley is emphasizing open standards and interoperability, collaborating with partners to offer integrated solutions spanning content creation, live production, playout and distribution. These are complemented by asset management and orchestration tools.
Visitors to the NAB Show in Las Vegas, April 18-22, can explore Grass Valley’s offerings at its booth, C2408.
