Madisonville Man Arrested Following Motorized, Foot Pursuit

MADISONVILLE, Ind. (WOWO) — A man from Madisonville was arrested after leading police on a motorized and foot pursuit.

Robert Keown was charged with fleeing or evading police in a motor vehicle, fleeing or evading police on foot, and several traffic violations.

The incident began when officers spotted Keown fueling a dirt bike at a gas station and attempted a traffic stop.

Keown accelerated, drove off-road, and eventually surrendered to police on foot.

He had an active warrant for his arrest.
