Advanced Systems Group Names Kevin Poole Senior Project & Support Manager For Workflow & Tools Practice

Kevin Poole

Advanced Systems Group, a technology and services provider for media creatives and content owners, has appointed Kevin Poole senior project and support manager within the ASG Workflow and Tools practice. Poole’s role is a newly created position designed to strengthen project execution and post-sale client support within the group. Poole reports to Joe Marchitto, CTO, workflow and tools.

The bulk of his responsibilities will involve managing the team’s project coordination and supporting its Southern California client base. In this role, he will serve as a central point of contact for its customers once a project moves forward, helping ensure deployments run smoothly and issues are resolved quickly.

“Kevin brings exactly the experience and customer-first mindset that makes a difference for clients,” said Dave Van Hoy, president of ASG. “They depend on us to deliver complex technology solutions that perform reliably in extremely demanding environments. Kevin’s ability to coordinate teams, communicate clearly, and stay closely aligned with customer needs will ensure not only that projects run smoothly, but that our clients know we’re behind them every step of the way.”

In addition to overseeing project management within the workflow and tools practice, Poole will serve as the group’s primary escalation point for support issues. He will also maintain ongoing communication with clients to ensure they’re kept up to date about their systems and any relevant upgrades.

“For many organizations, the real value of a technology partner becomes clear after the sale,” Poole said. “I’m supporting our clients in a way that they are crystal clear who to call if they need help. My goal is to create an environment where they experience reliability, responsiveness, and genuine collaboration.”

Poole joins ASG with more than two decades of experience in client-facing technical roles, including leadership positions in customer success and technical account management. Prior to joining ASG, he served as head of customer success and senior technical account manager at OpenDrives, where he managed relationships and technical operations for dozens of enterprise customers.

He also brings longstanding relationships within the industry and familiarity with many ASG team members and clients. Poole previously worked with Marchitto at Quantum, and the two have remained colleagues for over 15 years.

“Kevin combines deep technical knowledge with a real talent for managing relationships,” said Marchitto. “It’s a rare but valuable combination of skills. Our clients operate sophisticated environments involving multiple vendors, complex workflows, and tight deadlines. Kevin’s ability to bring structure and momentum to those environments will make a big difference for our clients and help grow the future success of ASG.”

Beyond resolving issues when they arise, Poole’s role focuses on maintaining ongoing communication and strengthening long-term client relationships.
