Amagi, a provider of cloud-native SaaS platforms for broadcast and streaming TV, has unveiled AI-driven artwork generation and transformation capabilities as part of its Amagi NOW ingest-to-monetization platform. The new technology allows media companies to move from raw video to platform-ready promotional artwork within the Amagi ecosystem.

Built on Amagi Intelligence — the company’s AI layer — the capability automates the creation of artwork variants for FAST, OTT, connected TV and social channels. It addresses the “artwork bottleneck” where a single title may require dozens of different aspect ratios, localized text and platform-specific branding.

The engine analyzes video frames for visual composition and narrative context to automatically identify the image that best captures a title’s story. Editorial teams can then review and approve the base artwork before it is transformed into formats such as 16:9 for CTV, 9:16 for mobile and 1:1 for social media.

“The industry has reached a breaking point where the sheer volume of platforms is outpacing the human ability to create for them,” said Srividhya Srinivasan, Amagi co-founder/CTO. “By teaching our AI to understand the narrative ‘soul’ of a video, we’re not just automating a task; we’re giving creative teams their time back. It’s about moving at the speed of streaming without ever losing creative integrity.”

The workflow is integrated into Amagi’s Media Manager, featuring role-based access controls and audit trails. The company said the tool is designed to cut turnaround times from days to minutes and ensure consistent brand presentation across distribution endpoints.

The AI-driven artwork features are available now to Amagi NOW customers, with a wider rollout starting in the second quarter of 2026. Amagi will demonstrate the technology at NAB Show in Las Vegas, April 18-22, in the West Hall, Booth 2331.
