TrueVisions NOW Picks Bitmovin for Real-Time Streaming Insights

TrueVisions NOW, a Thailand-based streaming platform and part of the TrueVisions Group, is using Bitmovin’s Observability to deliver real-time video analytics across smartphones, tablets, smart TVs and TrueID set-top boxes.

Bitmovin, a provider of video streaming solutions, is helping the platform — which offers more than 41,000 hours of content — gain granular visibility into content, device and user-level engagement in real time.

The system is integrated into TrueVisions’ in-house data warehouse, allowing large volumes of analytics data to be processed and stored efficiently without compromising performance.

“TrueVisions NOW is committed to delivering a premium viewing experience, and to do this, it needs the ability to access real-time insights into how streams are playing,” Soothi Na-Ranong, TrueVisions Group, said. “Bitmovin’s Observability was an obvious solution because standard analytics platforms don’t provide the same depth of video-specific analytics.”

TrueVisions NOW features more than 2,500 programs, including original entertainment and exclusive live sports.

Ian Baglow, Bitmovin co-CEO, said the platform is now able to access session-level insights, advanced error debugging and monetization telemetry. “This is enabling it to identify and resolve issues quickly so it can deliver the highest-quality service to its viewers,” Baglow said.

Bitmovin will attend Sportel Asia in Singapore March 24-25.
