NAB Show: Studio Technologies To Debut StudioComm Monitoring System

Studio Technologies, a manufacturer of high-quality audio, video and fiber-optic solutions for the professional audio and broadcast markets, is expanding its StudioComm line with the addition of the Model 794 Central Controller and Model 795 Control Console at the NAB Show in Las Vegas, April 18-22, in Booth C6808, the company said Thursday.

The new system is intended for general audio monitoring applications, including post-production, ingest and on-air facilities. The Model 794 is available in four versions that differ by input resources: the 794-01 features Dante and analog; the 794-02 adds balanced AES3; the 794-03 adds unbalanced AES3; and the 794-04 adds additional analog inputs.

All versions are compatible with the Model 795 Control Console and the Model 791 Control Console. The system features 32-bit digital processing, configurable audio outputs and multiple Ethernet ports supporting redundant Dante audio transport.

“The StudioComm system delivers a unified monitoring platform for professional broadcast and production,” Gordon Kapes, Studio Technologies president, said.
