The new system is intended for general audio monitoring applications, including post-production, ingest and on-air facilities. The Model 794 is available in four versions that differ by input resources: the 794-01 features Dante and analog; the 794-02 adds balanced AES3; the 794-03 adds unbalanced AES3; and the 794-04 adds additional analog inputs.
All versions are compatible with the Model 795 Control Console and the Model 791 Control Console. The system features 32-bit digital processing, configurable audio outputs and multiple Ethernet ports supporting redundant Dante audio transport.
“The StudioComm system delivers a unified monitoring platform for professional broadcast and production,” Gordon Kapes, Studio Technologies president, said.
