LPGA’s Mizuho Americas Open Shifts to Mountain Ridge in May With $3.25M Prize Pool

The LPGA Tour will bring the 2026 Mizuho Americas Open to Mountain Ridge Country Club in West Caldwell from May 4-10. After three years at Liberty National Golf Club in Jersey City, the competition moves to new grounds.

The purse has climbed to $3.25 million. That puts it among the largest outside major championships. Tickets became available this week, with prices running from $35 for early rounds to $130 for a full-week pass.

According to NJBIZ.com Mountain Ridge takes over hosting duties for 2026 and 2027. Mizuho Americas holds the title sponsorship through 2030, while Liberty National reclaims the competition from 2028 through 2030.

Michelle Wie West will act as host. The field brings defending champion and world No. 1 Jeeno Thitikul alongside other stars from the tour.

Twenty-four junior golfers from the AJGA will compete in a mixed setting with professionals. Established stars will tee off with young talent in one event.

Premium hospitality packages exist for those wanting more than standard admission. Veterans, military members, first responders, and juniors under 18 get free general admission to all rounds.

The Golf Channel will show early rounds. CBS airs the final round on May 10.

Liberty National welcomed the first three editions since the competition began, but Mountain Ridge opens a new era while maintaining roots in New Jersey through the decade’s end.

The switch follows an extended partnership between the tour and Mizuho Americas, securing the competition’s presence in the state through at least 2030 with two courses alternating hosting responsibilities.
