Accedo One, Magine Pro Launch Leyra OTT SaaS Platform

Accedo One and Magine Pro have officially launched Leyra, a joint venture that combines their technologies into a unified SaaS platform for OTT providers, the companies said Thursday.

The new company merges Magine Pro’s end-to-end OTT platform with Accedo One’s technology and its Marketplace partner ecosystem. The resulting portfolio provides an experience covering the subscriber lifecycle with extendibility to enable measurable growth for OTT services.

The combined team draws on experience designing and growing services ranging from Magine’s own direct-to-consumer service to working with media companies with more than 1 million monthly active users. The platform delivers actionable insights to help businesses measure success and optimize their offerings.

“Leyra is about bringing together complementary technology and expertise from two well established market leaders to create a global leader in SaaS solutions for OTT streaming,” Markus Hejdenberg, Leyra CEO, said. He said the company is focused on growing the products into a unified business enablement platform.

Matthew Wilkinson, Leyra CCO, said the platform addresses the increasing complexity and risk in the streaming industry. “Leyra tackles that head on — supporting the customer growth journey beyond service launch, giving providers the tools, data, and ecosystem to make the right calls at every stage of growth,” he said.

Leyra is a provider of SaaS solutions for OTT streaming. Existing customers from both companies will continue to receive support and services while gaining access to an expanded feature set.

Leyra is sponsoring Stream TV Europe April 13-15 and will attend the NAB Show in Las Vegas, April 18-22. The company also plans to appear at Stream TV Denver and IBC later this year.
